Who am I?

Hi, I’m Emily Zinchuk — artist, designer, and the one-woman creative tornado behind The 94th Floor.

I’ve been rearranging rooms since I was a kid — painting walls I probably shouldn’t have, collecting color palettes before Pinterest existed, and turning every space I lived in into an experiment.

Before launching 94th Floor, I spent years working behind the scenes for other creative brands — building systems, running operations, and helping artists thrive. Eventually, I realized it was time to bet on my own ideas.

The 94th Floor is my studio, my playground, and my love letter to good design.

Why The 94th Floor

The 94th Floor isn’t about status — it’s about taste.

It’s that metaphorical high floor where things just… look better.

The lighting hits right, the chaos feels smaller, and the view makes sense.

For me, it represents perspective — the ability to see beauty in the details, design with intention, and appreciate what’s timeless instead of trendy.

(And yes, it’s also a subtle nod to the year I was born — 1994, when good taste really peaked.)

My Services

I love getting my hands (and brain) into different styles and spaces — it’s where I come alive. There’s only so much I can do within my own four walls, so working on other people’s ideas feels like creative playtime with purpose.

I get to experiment, mix moods, break rules, and chase that “wait, this actually works?” moment. Every project is a new vibe, a new challenge, and a new excuse to make something that doesn’t exist yet — and honestly, it’s just really fun.

My Art Process

I work across a mix of mediums — pencil, pen, paint, and digital — but my favorite thing is blending them together until they stop playing nice.

Sometimes I start with a sketch, sometimes it’s a fully digital piece, and sometimes it’s a scribble that turns into something much bigger at 2 a.m.

I love experimenting, layering textures, and using tech as an extension of the handmade — not a replacement. Each design evolves through a mix of structure and chaos, until it feels like it couldn’t exist any other way.

What Inspires Me

I’m endlessly inspired by history, nostalgia, and humor.

I find beauty in vintage album covers, midcentury color palettes, and the interiors of old movies where every frame feels intentional.

Design, to me, isn’t just about making something pretty — it’s about evoking a feeling. I want my work to feel cinematic, familiar, and a little bit mischievous.

How Your Order Is Made

Every wallpaper and print from The 94th Floor is made to order through a fine-art printing studio that shares my obsession with quality and sustainability.

Each piece is printed using professional, pigment-based inks on durable, FSC-certified materials — no mass production, no dusty warehouses. This approach keeps every piece crisp, current, and intentional.
