Inspiration for the ‘Mad woMen’ Wallpaper Collection

Read about my process in creating this one of a kind collection. It is arguably my favorite collection to date and I can’t wait to share with you the ins and outs of these wallpaper patterns!

Shall we step back to the 1950’s - but only for a moment. We’re just grabbing some fabric swatches from the discard pile and running back to the 21st century. Let’s see a new take on some retro vibes with - the Mad woMen Wallpaper Collection!

Here are my 3 personal favorites in the collection:

This wallpaper collection as a whole ended up being the easiest one to make! I am not sure if it was because the designs spoke to me so effortlessly or because it was my third collection of wallpaper patterns and I had a better grasp on techniques at this point. Regardless, this collection is by far, without a doubt, FUN!

‘Cindy’ is just so versatile and simply cool. I picture ‘Cindy’ in a quiet smoky lounge giving an alluring yet comforting feeling. On the other hand she is certain to add a lighthearted rebellious flare to a home!

I feel that ‘Stacy’ embodies the entire collection so well. She has this very retro pattern and color scheme that just works and gives such a nostalgic comfort.

My personal favorite is ‘Maxine’ though. I love her large and in charge pattern and color scheme. This wallpaper is for no wimp, that’s for sure. She is a loud, energetic, and fun design that can bring life to any setting!
